Estate Julian Seckinger

Craft and Conviction

I believe in the power of time, precision and experience. That is why nothing is created in haste. Every wine receives the attention it deserves – from the vineyard to the bottle.

My standard is uncompromising quality. The joy of craftsmanship, the attention to detail, and the awareness of the cultural significance of viticulture shape my daily work.

Palatinate. Mittelhaardt. Deidesheim.

In Deidesheim, in the heart of the Mittelhaardt, red sandstone, old vines and historic vineyard sites shape my work. The organically farmed small parcels and their diverse micro-terroirs form the foundation for wines with unmistakable origin.

They are matured in a historic sandstone cellar – defined by time, calm, and a deep respect for their origin.

The New Classic.

Traditional craftsmanship, maximum origin, and uncompromising quality. Riesling from the smallest parcels, naturally vinified and guided with time and patience.

Not bound to passing trends, but driven by the pursuit of character, depth, and authenticity. A new classic – rooted in the knowledge of past generations and the standards of today.

Paradiesgarten Waldberg

The Waldberg is a small 6.8-hectare parcel in the Deidesheimer Paradiesgarten. Its south-eastern exposition at 182 metres above sea level ensures balanced sun exposure while preserving freshness and tension in the wine.

The soils, formed from weathered colored sandstone and sandy loam, define the character of this vineyard site. They lend the Riesling refined minerality, precision, and a distinctive spicy character. The ungrafted vines, now over 50 years old, extend their roots deep into these soils, producing grapes of remarkable depth, concentration, and expression year after year.

On the palate, it presents itself calm and focused, with delicate spice, salty minerality, and a long finish. A wine of great character from a tiny parcel of just 0.12 hectares – bottled in a limited run of only 305 bottles.
